Answers from our 2026–2027 tariff. Still not sure? Call +265 111 750 112 or message us on WhatsApp.

How do I pay?

Visa, MasterCard or bank transfer. International bank transfers get 10% off; a 5% bank charge applies to all transactions.

What deposit is required?

A refundable deposit of USD 1,000, or a credit card imprint instead. Local companies can use an LPO by prior arrangement.

What insurance is included?

Third-party insurance and passenger liability are included in every rental. Comprehensive cover can be added per day. Tyres and windscreens are not insured. Already insured? Choose “My own insurance” and send us your policy.

Do you offer drivers?

Yes: USD 10 a day, plus a USD 35 allowance for each night away or work after 18:00, and USD 2 an hour overtime. Buses are always hired with our driver.

Do I get a full tank?

Yes. Please return the vehicle full; otherwise the fuel used plus a USD 30 refuelling fee is charged.

Can I cross the border?

Yes, with advance notice so we can prepare the papers for the vehicle. A cross-border fee of USD 75 applies.

Is there an age limit?

Self-drive is from age 25. Younger renters can hire with one of our drivers.

Can I return the vehicle somewhere else?

Yes. Returning at the airport in the same city is free; returning in another city (for example Lilongwe to Blantyre) costs USD 300.

How many kilometres are included?

200 km a day. Extra kilometres are charged at the rate for the vehicle group (from USD 0.18 to 0.73 per km).

What if I return the vehicle late?

Please call us before your return time if you need longer. Late returns without an agreed extension may be charged as an extra day.
